Nope--he lowers the four hole blow to A. Slide note too.
And that's not his main tuning.
This tuning also lowers draw 3, that's the diminished part of it.
So "Sixth" is the blow plate and "diminished" is the draw plate.
I like to name tunings after their chords, so standard tuning would be C/Dm6.
This one is C6/DDiminished7.
