July 8th - 10th
They just delivered the 8' 6" by 19' trailer we're going to turn into this years outside stage a few minutes ago. I was surprised to see that I haven't posted here about it yet so here goes.

I usually don't tell people who's going to be here but this year I can't help myself. The Fabulous Sgro Brothers Dominic and Tony are going to be here. Phil and Tony Sardo are coming,. Mo Vint was going to come but the Canadian border remains closed. AJ Windmeyer, LJ and Elizabeth Atkinson all coming from Missouri , Roger Bale and 2 others from Colorado, Sean Savilla from Anaheim, California, George Miklas (and maybe Janalyn) from Virginia, Lockjaw Larry and Jim Rumbaugh from West Virginia, Charlie Barath from Pennsylvania Slidmeisters AJ Fedor and John Kablefish and sorry if I didn't name you but it's been a long day and busy at my house.
The Ohio State Harmonica Championship will be on Saturday the 10th

Don't know how many of you have seen Ken VanEtten's huge harmonica collection at Spah or the Garden State festivals but if you have you know that saying it's fantastic is an understatement. Ken will be setting it up and displaying it at this years party

Yahoo Weather shows the temps won?t be over 80 degrees so it should be comfortable all weekend.

The first guests flew in from Long Beach CA at the airport on the 3rd, (Sean) Wailin' O'Phalin should be here (from Georgia) later today
The Sardo's are driving and arriving later tonight, KC should be here in a couple of hours. I start getting ready for this thing earlier every year and it still doesn't seem to done in time. Too much to do to be drinking coffee and posting updates.

And another Danny G's Harmonica party "in the can!"

Okay! Sunday afternoon and Barbara and I are back home, and of course, a great time was had by all. This year, we had the best weather we've had in seventeen years; only mid seventies but plenty of sunshine. A lot was going on at all times over about a one acre area. Lotsa professional entertainment (Scro Brothers) good food, amateur and semi-professional music, lots of good food, great folks (lotsa huggz) camaraderie, big name players, good food, The Ohio State Harmonica Championship and all 'round fun and lotsa good food. Just Amazing! It just get's better every year, folks!

. Hmm, I think I might have gained five pounds. (I wonder if the good food had anything to do with it

Every year I leave something down there. Duh! This year, I was a walkie talkie. No worries; I'm sure Linette will prolly find in with the lawn mower.

Oh yeah, and that snot-nosed kid we usta call "little A.J." (Windmeyer) grew another foot since last year (he's like 6'5" now) so now, when we play together, it's more like "Tall Age and Old Age. Harrumph!
