There are a lotta folks on youtube who just think they're good and wanna show off. Here we can be just who we are without any pretense.  The trick is: DON'T CHEAT. Just play something! (and no do-overs) We ALL make mistakes when we're just fooling around. "Performance" is one thing, but ANYONE who says they never make mistakes when just fooling around is either:
1. a liar
2. has a problem dealing with reality
3. a narcissist
4. only knows and plays stuff like "Three Blind Mice"
5. or as one guy from California told me, and I quote: "I'm the best player on your forum, and you should thank me for being here!"  No kiddin'. (which reminds me; I kicked him out so hard, his butt didn't hit the ground for a hundred yards )

Nope! Without mistakes, we learn nothing. Ironing out our mistakes is simply "improving." Granted, as we progress, we make fewer mistakes, but like pain tells us not to walk on a busted foot, mistakes tells us where we need work. None of us are perfect.

When guys start going bald they do comb-overs, then hair pieces, then finally say "fuggetaboddit!" and buy a good looking hat (or not) and smile more. Kinda like why I like up-to-date mugshots. Hey, it is what it is, so let's just have fun with it!

AND...he ain't lying! I remember when it happened. Well, he also kicked out when he got equally snotty (so hard and far his butt bounced), the guy who somehow imagines he's THE 'master of harmonica' in some alternate Universe. 

We all still get tons of enjoyment from that one.

well, that was cool - you played it with your tv on in the background and with no amp. Was this something discussed/decided on in another thread I missed?

I don't have a cellphone and have no idea how to play into my computer - yet. I do have a couple of mics --one probably works with this computer, but - I haven't yet tried. Luka hasn't yet let me play (in over a year). He screams when I try, so my sole 'playing' has been in my head. One of these days I'll get a techie in to show me how to do everything I need
to learn.

In order for me to post my clip, I had to record it on my iPad, mail it to my desktop, change the format to MP3, and then post.
I am eager to post another Harmonetta clip, unfortunately I had to send it back for more repairs.
