Nah! Never too early for Christmas music. Christmas is my most favoritest holiday.
I always keep at least one Christmas decoration up all year round, just because.

Never too early! Santa's Land USA (see my avatar) opened in October; last year, in July. I play Christmas tunes on harmonica to entertain patrons.

Last Sunday night, I had fixed a pot of chili. We had a son, daughter, son-in-law and grandson over to help us eat it for supper. We were all standing in the kitchen when my daughter spotted a Christmas card from Janet's sister. The card was on the counter, leaning against the backsplash.
My daughter asked Janet, "Has Phyliss already sent out her Christmas cards?!"
Janet said, "No! I just have never put them away from last year!
"
So ... nah. Never too early for anything Christmas ... especially music!

The Santa Clause house in North Pole A
K
Turns out, I was there exactly 33 years ago. Spent the whole month of November up there. It's just down the road from Fairbanks, as I recall it was only kinda light for a couple hours a day, and down in the -30F range. Yeah! Great weather. (if you're a walrus or something.
That Santa Claus House is on the same property as a church I preached at. I understand the church actually owned the place. I see it's all built up nowadays; not like it was when we were there. It was actually more rustic; almost authentic looking, and not as "commercialized" as this new place. I remember cracking up reading some of that year's (1989) letters from kids from all over the world, that were plastered all over the walls, like the one that said:
" . . . and remember that trick I played on my sister with that bucket of milk? I know it was really bad. I'm sorry, and I promise never to do it again."
Then the writer went on with his list of stuff he wanted.
Probably still true today, but I was told that when anyone on the planet addresses a letter to "Santa Claus - North Pole," THAT'S where it ends up, so they got about a thousand letters every year. The place was pretty cool. Even had a real cool sleigh inside that actually looked like it should.

Thanks. Even better to "be" the Santa that loves children and encourages kindness. I'm having lots of fun!
