The arrow

Just in case anyone out there in MeisterLand aren't familiar with the way the forum works  there is an arrow you can click on, at the top-right of the forum that turns stuff on and off. All I can think is that some of you folks have it turned off. That's the only thing that can account for the some of the stuff that happens around here every day. All the NEWS rotates with every screen change. BUT it you happen to have it turned off, you're not going to see it.

Age posts facts, news and info about the forum at the top right --it constantly rotates. I had no idea that it could be turned off (Gnarly, why would you want to --since the idea is that we ALL have to have it turned on to know what's going on here and that was Age's point? lolol)

Age has realized that it can be 'turned off' if your computer is set to do so , or within the forum settings itself. So, look for an arrow at the top right, or go into settings (or contact Age if you still can't see it).

 I've been seeing the rotations' headlines in red print--if that helps? - and they're signed with capitalized S.M. (for SlideMeister).

Hey, can't say I ain't trying!   The stuff's up there plain as day, and they still keep posting pictures over the limit, staying off for over six months, writing me using different names and email addresses, asking how to use the PM feature, trying to post want ads, etc. I put all the news on one post board, and no one reads them, I switch the news at the top to red letters and still nothin.   Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing over here 

The only thing that always gets folks' attention is when they see their account is gone, and I'd really rather not do that, cuz its such a pain in the shorts to put them back in afterwards. Oh well.

I know...and it's a heckuva tough job, but who else IS going to do it? Nobody else ever volunteers to help/take over (far as I know?)

So unless you quit on us and shut the whole thing down (which IS a possibility, folks--since it's Age's personal blog and HE needs some cooperation to keep it going on a daily basis despite his physical issues, etc.) we need to make it as PAINLESS as possible for him. Dig? Where would we be without this forum we all love so much? I know I'd be extremely sad.

Because that stuff takes up real estate--you have to scroll down to read the posts, sometimes the posts are not visible unless you do!
That being said, I went back to normal and have not clicked the arrow since.
