We enjoyed Thursdays main stage shows despite the heat.  I’ll be looking for you and Bruce Friday evening and maybe Saturday.  We live 73 miles form there so since no hotels had rooms we just drive it.

I wish I was there!

I just electrified a washboard, and it was a big hit last week at a sports bar gig I played.

Kinda makes me wonder how many washboards are sold in the US nowadays (outside of the Amish communities) for actually washing clothes. I remember as a kid, my mom had three of them; two with metal corrugations and one that was glass. Between those and the old wringer washer and some lye and other soap that my grandmother made, we always had the cleanest clothes. :)

Na, we drove the Subaru which averaged 34.6 mpg.  We went Thursday and Friday with total of 310 miles so used about 9.95 gallons.  Gas cost $5 her and  $4.86 there so we hulled and paid the piper.  We enjoyed lots of good music and enjoyed a visit with Danny, Linette, Bruce and AJ.

About 320 miles round trip about 16 gallons with a loaded (and I mean fully loaded) truck
