Virginia Harmonica Festival

After asking how many members were going to Buckeye, it occurred to me that
the Virginia Festival is coming up in March. I wondered how many of the group are
planning to attend.

I would love to, but it's a very short festival only last 24 hours??? Is it worth to travel 7-8 hours?

The weather in Virginia is usually excellent in March. If you drive, you can find some very nice places to eat. Captain Morgan's seafood buffet is our favorite. People in the South are always very friendly. There are seminars and there is usually adequate open mic time. You'll have a good time.

The 10th annual Virginia Harmonicafest will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel
in Williamsburg, Virginia on 9 and 10 March 2007.
Hotel reservations may be made by calling 800-962-4743.
The special rate for the festival is $72.00.

This year's entertainers include Sandy German, Bob Meehan, and Stan Harper and others.
There will be seminars, raffles, doorprizes and open mic time.
The ticket price is $45.00 if mailed and received by March 1,2007.
The price at the door will be $50.00.

I think it's pretty sad that out of 272 people who claim to be harmonica enthusiasts, only 4 or maybe 5 are planning to attend the Buckeye State Harmonica Festival and only 1 is planning on attending the Virginia Harmonica Festival ?

I wish I could attend ALL the harmonica festivals worldwide, but I have a day job and when I do have a vacation, my wife and I like to travel overseas together. She doesn't get into harmonica festivals...
I'll be at SPAH this year though.
