Wow, Pete!!!  It's a great picture.

I enjoyed 2 men/women kayacking in a Lake in Main but it surely didn't look like the one on your picture.

Be very careful about letting the idea of sea kayaking get into your head.

Years ago the idea got stuck in my head and somehow my family now owns at least eight boats and all of the necessary equipment and safety gear to go with it (there are only four of us).  My wife and I got so into it that we were spending about four days a week on the water and travelling all over the East Coast to take lessons.  Eventually we even became instructors.

It might be even better than playing music - it definitely cuts into your playing time.
