1. Bebop it - why wouldn't you?
2. Retune the duplicate high-F note on hole 10 blow to a G (there are other ways to extend the range to G but I prefer this one)
Well, I finally got around to performing this simple operation on my old Seydel Standard with the help of the Lee-Oskar Toolkit, flat head screwdriver and Korg CA-1 Tuner. I waited until I had plenty of practice tuning diatonics to Paddy Richter first mind you!
I'm well pleased with the results and would recommend to anyone with a bit of practice to do the same. The extra G note at the top is pretty useful and bebop is a brilliant yet conservative approach to alternate tuning (you hardly have to relearn anything).
Next task - retune my Neo-Cassical tuned Seydel Deluxe so it isn't 20 cents sharp (I'm not kidding)
