Danny told me just yesterday that the party goes Thursday, Friday and Saturday this year. Let’s hope we don’t get roasted in a heat wave.

OOOOHHHH! I may have made an error. Danny's website shows the party for July 8, 9 and 10. I've already made my plans to drive up on Thursday and leave on Sunday. Oh, well. Hope I won't miss too much!!

Thursdays, folks are usually straggling in. I usually show up on Friday and Saturday cuz that's when it gets busy. Don't worry, you're gunna have a great time.

I'll be doing the same. I'm leaving home on Thursday morning, but it'll be very late before I hit Alliance!
I'll be there on Friday and Saturday. So looking forward to meeting some of the folks I've only know through the forum for three years! Also looking forward to hearing some good music and having some fun

Yeah, it's amazing how it's ALL fun. You'll be surprised how you can be wowed by the "Good players," dazzled by the "great players" and yet strangely impressed by the newbies. I think it's all about camaraderie.

I have a few errands to run this morning but will fix it later today. 2022 party is July 7-8-9

Disaster! Just got back from the dentist. Got one temporary crown (that I hate already) and he had to send my whole upper partial (with the new impression) in to the lab. I basically only have one upper tooth (that actually meets a lower one) to eat with.

Heck, it even hurts to play. I still plan on being there, but it looks like I won't be smiling very big and I'll probably be eating less. Oh well, I wanted to lose some weight anyway.

Yeah, I just looked it up again. I'm exactly 34 miles north of Danny's (as the crow flies) and 43 miles driving. Just under an hour away.

One of these years I'll get there - Lin always invites me, but this won't be the year, sadly. Perhaps for the 20th Anniversary?
Now that would be fun. I'd hitch a ride with Paul, hopefully - my 'knight in shining armour' since Fred wouldn't be able to make
that trip. We'll see. Lots of things to work out before I can leave here and not come back to a disaster, lol.

Getting to finally play music with Paul again would be top of my list - as well as so many others of you. sigh.

Aiming for next year, hopefully!

OK. I'm getting pumped about DannyG's party!
I've had the oil changed in my Explorer. I've had the tires rotated and checked the pressure. I've mapped out my route for driving. I've made my list of things to pack and bring.
I'm really looking forward to meeting those of you who'll be there.

Remember (you air-gunners) to bring your BB or pellet guns. Looks like I'll be bringing Louie's new Berra 400E, full auto just for giggles (and some others as well) There's plenty of room behind the pavilion facing a twenty acre field, where we can shoot. Should be fun!

Also be prepared to buy, sell or trade harmonicas and stuff. George Miklas should have a cornucopia of goodies there, (certainly did last year

) and you never know; you may have something others want or vice-versa.We only do this once a year; might as well make the most of it.

Lots to do, see, lean, play and share. AND don't forget your smile, cuz Gunna be fun!!!

Been to every one, and never a "dud"

Always a hoot! Not sure how much I'm gunna play (or even eat) this time, but still planning to have a lotta fun. The company is always fantastic. Barbara made an Apple pie, and I'm bringing "AFR" (Age's fried rice) since I might be able to do a hamburger, but won't be chewing any turkey, ham, pork, ribs, of beef this time. :'( Maybe I'll just hafta "pig out" of pasta salad and stuff.

. Heck, anyone who's ever been there will tell you, the food alone, is a great reason to go to Danny G's party. Ha Ha!!
