Got my AARP magazine today. There is an advertisement
for a music/comedy/etc expo in Boston September 6 ~ 8.

Anybody else get this magazine. If so did you see the advertisement
and did you recognize anyone whose picture is at the top of the
page along with Rod Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg, and other famous personalities.

My father-in-law bought me my first year's membership when I turned 50. My thought was, "Why did he do that? Welcoming me into old-codgerhood? Saying, 'You're one of us now'?" I never did ask him.

I'm okay with it now. I don't regret my last 13 years of codgerhood, and look forward to many more. As long as they include music in general, and harmonica in particular.

Well, I had hoped someone here would have that magazine and confirm my
suspicion, but I sure thought that one of the pictures was of Tom Stryker
or his doppleganger.
