If you saw the Movie this may tickle your fancy,
If you didn't see it, this is the Readers Digest Version.

It reminds me of those great "Get Smart" series where Control
is battling Kaos and they stop fighting whenever a civilian
walks by.

I personally liked the original 1962 version "The 300 Spartans" with Richard Egan. In fact, I just downloaded it onto my Mac, with "Acquisition" (a P2P program). Been looking for it for years in the shops with no luck.

Ah yes Age,
When I said "the original one" I meant the original "300".
I liked the 1962 version- Richard Egan. "The 300 Spartans".
"300" is not as good as that one in my opinion.
The "300" DVD I have is Blu-Ray but the colours they filmed it in are poor
and weak and the sound is not well balanced.
Talking of old classics the best Blu-Ray disc for colour I have is
"The Searchers" with the Duke - Brilliant.
The old uns' are often the best!!

Hello, A.J. (no harmonica content).
I found the movie, "300 Spartans," with Richard Egan, at my public library, on DVD. You might also find it at your public library. I also liked the 1962 movie better than the newer one("300").
Although I liked the special effects in the newer movie, the older one seemed more real and believeable.
And the acting was better in the older "300 Spartans."
