Glenn Miller, Harry Morgan, Jackie Gleason

(1/3) > >>

Ed McCullough:
I came across this movie in youtube.com. search for:

Orchestra Wives full movie

I had no idea that Glenn Miller's band was so HUGE in terms of numbers of players. This is the second and last movie about Glenn Miller's band. I was surprised to see the presence of two people in the movie.
-. Harry Morgan.  8:53. 18:56
-. Jackie Gleason, though I believe he did not actually play string Bass.    0:10.  1:24. 6:10

I have been lucky in Houston and got my electricity back after 2 days. The city water supply continues with no problem. I got plenty of non-perishable food in advance. Other people are struggling.

Age:
Never saw that movie. Hmmm! I definitely remember Henry Morgan; he usta be on a lotta game shown and stuff.

No power for two days?  Bummer!  Looks like being a "prepper" pays off, eh?

Nice to know you're in the club. ;)

servus:
Weren't there two Henry Morgens? One was the quiz show guy, the other, a comedian on some sitcom? I forget which sitcom.

Ed McCullough:
Henry Morgan and Harry Morgan are the people you are thinking of.

Age:
I remember the one with dark wavy hair and the weird nose.
That's right, HARRY was the guy that played Frank Smith on the new Dragnet and Col. Potter on Mash.
Ben Alexander wuz Frank Smith on the original fifties show, who carried a nickel S&W with a 5 or 6" barrel.
Howzatt for a head fulla useless trivia? ;D
