The VCH! (Virtual Chromatic Weekend) June 18-20, 2021
(1/1)
SlideMeister:
Hi gang! Just got the following note from Roger Trowbridge in the U.K.:
We are sending out information about our Virtual Chromatic Weekend (VCW), "A Celebration of the Chromatic Harmonica"
It has been a small local, live festival in Birmingham (UK) for the last 12 years but the move to online this year has transformed it as artists have been asking to take part. We could never do this live.
Here are some links
The festival video -

Take care.

Angie:
I love it! Thank you , Age :)

I've been on it for a few hours now. Even switched from the Mac to my PC notebook, and took it out to garage, plugged it into my sound system and and let it run while I painted my bench! ;D ;D

It was great to see you there on Saturday Age.
The final day - today Sunday 20 June - has even more great artists. Dror Adler (Israel), Isabella Krapf (Austria), Enrico Granafei (USA), Olivier Ker Ourio (France), Rick Epping (Ireland) on looking after your chromatics, and finally Will Galision (USA).
Lots of video too from Charlie Leighton and Tommy Morgan.
Why not come along to this free all day event, see some great workshops, hear some fantastic artists and donate some cash to these musicians who have not been able to work for over a year.
The details to watch the festival are in Age's post - above, but here is today's programme and a short video from the artists.
Remember the times given are UK times and adjust them to your local time. I think take off 5 hours for the US East Coast and 9 hours for the West Coast.
As all the artist said in their messages in the videos "Hope to see you at the Virtual Chromatic Weekend."
If you have problems it will also be live on the HarmonicaUK YouTube channel.
We need your support if you want more events like this in the future.
Here is the web page for full details about watching the event.

It's great to be able to see all these people in one place, Harmonica UK is doing a great job, (& the videos get put online too). :)
Makes me feel guilty watching for free, so I guess I'll have to go & sign up now! :D
