Rhubarb or walnut are always welcomed since they are so very hard to get. I have a strong sweet tooth, so anything sweet is good.

I love
all
pies 'cept "punkin" (I can only eat that one with about a 3:1 whipped cream to pie ratio)
Other than that, plain and simple, old fashioned Cherry is my fav! Unfortunately, nowadays, it hates me.
I yoosta be able to eat a whole pie at a sitting. Now I can only two slices, and they gotta be several hours apart.
Yeah that's an example of "old sux," (pretty much like pizza.)

Toss-up:
Lemon Merengue
Chocolate (with whipped cream) (graham cracker crust?)
My choir director and I had a musical disagreement, in which she eventually saw things my way. At the next rehearsal, she presented me with a savory pie that she baked. She called it a "humble pie."

I yoosta make pies a lot when I wuzza kid; you just reminded me with that "graham cracker crust" thing.
I never liked graham crackers for anything, EXCEPT for pie crusts. Mom and Gramma ALWAYS had something in the oven, but I could always sneak a crust into the oven for a few minutes, so I became the graham cracker crust, pie kid. I'd just used anything I could find, (pudding or pie filling wise) make my own little mess in the corner of the kitchen, (mixing pudding, making Merengue and stuff) and made lotsa pies. That's prolly why the kept me around.

Pecan.
strange story: The wife has lost her memory. T'other day I was cleaning out the pantry and came across FOUR boxes of graham cracker crumbs. Apparently she kept buying them.

After sharing that, I decided to make another pie just ta see if I still remember. I dug out some grahams, then Budishka reached in the freezer and pulled out a pre-made crust, so the grahams will hafta wait for the next "urge."

1956 this Cub Scout was enjoying our dens picnic with a big bon fire. We learned how delicious our creations of roasting hamburger, potatoes, onion, celery and carrots in aluminum foil nested in the hot coals was. After dinner the moms brought out the desserts. I couldn’t decide between chocolate pie or lemon meringue ( neither of which I had ever tasted) . One generous mom placed both on my plate with an understanding smile. The next few minutes was Heaven on earth to this chubby cub! I have never been able to choose one over the other so I must say they both are my favorites.
I also love blackberry pie covered with vanilla ice cream. Then there’s cherry with ice cream. Cherry topped cheese cake is not to be overlooked.
Ok, so to name just one- or two or three- favorites is impossible.
Actually with diabetes I seldom enjoy any desserts but when I do my favorite is what’s available.

My dad always wanted a slab of cheddar cheese with his apple pie. Is this only a New England thing?
(Although I named chocolate and lemon merengue, I've never met a pie I didn't like.

Yeah, the "Cheddar cheese on pie thing" is something with which I've yet to successfully bond.
Kinda like horse radish on my banana split.🤮

Cheddar on apple pie IS a New England thing. Like 'Boston coolers'. (half a cantalope with the cavity filled with French vanilla ice cream). For cake I make Philla. style cheese cake. (uses Philla. cream cheese).
And as you all know, I have the Midas touch..in reverse. Every time I made pineapple upside down cake, it came out right side up. No respect I tell ya.
