Picked up a "weapons grade" cold or somethin'. Since yesterday, it turned into a bad, painful cough with a fever (haven't had one of those for twenty years ) If I don't feel at least a little better in the morning, I'll probably be going back to that UrgentCare place.
I'd just appreciate some prayer support out there.🙏🏼

Good wishes, Age, and hopefully you get good advice from the docs - like plenty of fluids, the fever reducer of your choice (apirin, tylonol, advil etc - here there are different names) - and -if necessary antibiotics for the cough. Naturally plenty of sleep too.

Just got home (again) from the UrgentCare joint, up the road. This time, we BOTH went. We like to share stuff, so Barbara's got a bad sore throat too, so we both got strep tests (which turned out negative) Other than that, just "hoot owl city" I guess.🤧

I'm back to "borderline functional." Whoo-hoo! It was seventy degrees outside and I had to wear a jacket to out and check for the mail; that's when my son informed me that it was Sunday!! First time that ever happened. Bad enough that when I cough, I sound like an old Oogah horn, but I was so messed up that I actually lost a day.

I recently had a similar sickness.  Cold, Flu, Covid? - took weeks to start feeling better.  Praying with and for you Age.  Glad you are feeling better!

Yeah, kinda weird. Some days, We're fine, next day, we got "faucet-nose" again.  But on the whole, we're both much better than we were, thanx! Still ornery and cranky, but that's how I have fun.
