What a contrast!  Both were great.  I now remember the Perry Como television show.

Turn on the "Way back machine" and remember:

"Dear Perry, would you be so kind, and fill a request, and sing the song I like best?"

Are we old or what?? ;D

So the trio on the “Prisoner” cut is the Philharmonica Trio.
Here’s a video of them—who all are they?

The Philharmonica Trio consisted of Harry Halicki, and brothers Charles (Chick) and Joe Pittello.  The were on top of the entertainment world in the 40's.  They were all in the Coast Guard together, and became "famous" during that stint.  The trio travelled and entertained extensively around the country, at clubs, and were in a couple of movies.  The group broke up in the 50's.
Harry Halicki  1920 - 2002
Joe Pittello  1919 - 1992
Chick Pittello 1920 - 2003

Thanks Doug!

Hey!  I love learning stuff I didn't know before!  If used correctly (and if you validate and are a bit of a skeptic!), the internet has some wonderful information that will entertain and enlighten.
But remember this quote:  "The problem with internet information is that you can't always depend on its accuracy." -- Abraham Lincoln
