The Office Opening Theme Song
«

I was watching The Office last night and realised that the melody of the opening theme song was played by a harmonica (unless there's another instrument that sounds like a harmonica that I don't know about).
It's a short tune and repeats itself once.
3 7 -6* 7 -6* -5 6
4 4 4 -4 -3 -4 3
7 -6* 7 -7 -6* 6
-5 6 -5 -4 4 4 4 -4 -3 -4 3
Sheet music is attached.

This site has it as a MIDI file, as well as the audio (MP3).
I have found information that this tune was composed by Jay Ferguson. You may remember him as the lead singer with Spirit, also started Jo Jo Gunne with the Andes brothers (Mark and Matt), and had a solo career--also worked as Jimmy Buffett's soundman for a while, I recall seeing his picture at Carvin Guitars.
BTW, this is much easier to play on a G instrument--I am liking the Melody Maker for this tune--but was unaware of the tune until just now--Now it's going into my solo act--much obliged!
