Hi there!

This is a wonderful song and the tabs are great.
My question is how to play this one with with proper feeling?

I´d be grateful for any advice on how to do that, it´s a serious question.
When I play it sounds like a computer playing it, what am I doing wrong?

Hi Mac, :)
First of all, you can try pretending the Chromatic is your singing voice. Once you begin to think this way, you'll begin to hear those harsh, inherent, mechanical "edges" begin to "fall off"

Here's another one: Think of the movie: Forrest Gump (at about the 1:00 mark) and how he began to run when the braces came off.  ;)

Hi Age!

Thank you so much for the good advice and the instructive video.
I will take care not to tighten my braces when playing, instead try to take them off.  :D

It probably means playing over and over again I guess?
I will start by playing "At last" 10 times a day until I dream about it.  ;D

Once again thank you for very good advices, I need them and I cherish them too.  :)

All the best
Mac

For anyone else who might be paying attention to this thread: Remember, finding your "voice," should come after being very familiar with where all the notes are, and being able to hit them cleanly without even thinking about it.

You can't effectively divide your time in two directions; especially when both are kinda difficult. You want to "target" each facet of your playing, one at a time. Maybe not as much fun, but a lot quicker in the long run. ;) A fighter pilot doesn't learn how to engage and shoot at anther fighter before being so familiar with the "flying" part, that he doesn't even hafta think about it, since "shooting" is a very intensive aspect of that particular job description.:)

Trying to learn both articulation and "feeling" at the same time is kinda self defeating. One at a time please! We've probably all heard it, and there's nothing worse than hearing "feeling" being applied to poorly articulated, or worse yet, the wrong notes. :P Gotta have that boring piece of clay, stuck down, and spinning in the very center of that turntable before trying to shape it into something beautiful. Okay, I think that's enough analogies for now. LOL!

Hi Age!

Many thanks, I will take these advices to my heart as well.
It feels like well founded words for amateur playing. :D

I play because it gives me such a good feeling to hear the music
and if I can make it better with some genuine advice I´m glad.  ;D
