Actually, we gotta lotta cool things going on behind the scenes, and I think you guys are gunna like'em! I may be asking you for some opinions shortly.

As of right now, things are quite functional right here on this new forum, but could get a little shaky as we continue implement new stuff. I'm having a hard time deciding what to update on the main, black SlideMeister.com site, since things (and ideas) are still in flux, but don't worry. What could possibly go wrong? blip, go wrong? blip,go wrong? blip, go wrong? blip,  . ..  . LOL!

We may be trying some new themes, colours and stuff. If we get it right, when the dust settles, this new forum may turn out to be both bigger AND smaller at the same time. (figure that one out! ) Ha Ha!


On a more serious note, my new coffee percolator is going back to Amazon!

I made up some new buttons and labels today for both sites, and Fabio says he's gunna try and stick them in there for us tomorrow. Whoo-hoo! They should simplify a lotta stuff for anyone stopping by either one of our forums.

Okay, pretty sure I have the "Join SlideMeister" button, link and associated text written on the main site.
Next, Fabio should get the new support button up there tomorrow, and I'll do the text on the associated link.
Between those two new buttons, all the questions should be covered.

I just finished making some sexy new navigation buttons and sent to Fabio. Hopefully he'll have them all installed where they're supposta go tomorrow. I gotta learn how to do that stuff. After that (just guessing) all the rest of you good folks will hafta do is make sure clear your cache and cookies and stuff like I did. After which everything started working pretty well again.

Then I'd like you guys to start posting like crazy, with attachments, sound files and stuff for a few days and give the system a good burn-in. We're also kicking around the idea of putting everything (including the archives) right here on .net and re-directing the old URL right here to this site. "One stop shopping" and all that. And more as ideas in the works as well. Let's just say none of will be bored for a while, aye?

Yeah, unless something blows up,😬 we're here on .net to stay now.  At the old site, I'm making like Dave, in Space 2001, slowly and methodically pulling all Hal's wires out. 

I tested .net out again tonight with a buncha different attachment loads and stuff, and it all seems to be working pretty nice, actually. Still gotta get Fabio to move one of the shiny new buttons I made a bit to the left.🙂

Now I'm just trying to decide what to do with the old .com. We're thinking about closing it down and putting everything (including the archives) right here on the this site, so even when folks try to go to the old forums.SlideMeister.com, it'll just re-direct to this site. 

I'm thinking we can always use .com for emails, large file transfers, maybe Presidents Clubber websites and storage and stuff. (gotta lotta ideas, but nothin definite till after I see folks feeling at home on this new site. Gotta chat with Fabio and see if all that stuff has the "ability to be "feezed."
