Thanks, Henry! - I was able to listen in a bit --on my Ipad, and wow--there are so many choices including playable music for us ear players, sheet music for all kinds of formats and really nice FREE downloads of christmas music (I believe for this month only). Lotta fun. Glad it was available for you to tune into, across 'the Pond'.

That's a lot of sheet music sources. I've used Cantorion before for SATB music scores. The 24 page pdf download has many familiar carols and a couple of other gems. Great for putting in your church Order of Service for Christmas Eve.

I never heard of Cantorion before--but I began exploring a little on the site today (before my computer locked me out again) and it kept taking me further and further into different areas - all very interesting - and I did notice that one could print out (for free) the entire Christmas Carol 'book' for caroling use. 

The original 'freebie' email I got (which I very nearly deleted unread!) specified that the Christmas music is mostly free to download via mp3's, into Itunes or to print out for the entire month of December - no copyright issues at all!  I had no idea. The separate radio station link also takes you into much more specific (to oneself) areas...including Church and gospel areas if I read it right. I was looking for more jazz-oriented Christmas music for myself, for instance--and got lost at that point, trying to hear it on my Ipad.

It works for everyone--those who want sheet music, ear players --singers...beginners. I did see a small video of what looks like a young girl playing a very stripped down version of Silent Night on piano - with the sheet music to follow along.  I'm really digging the sites, even without being able to hear the music at the moment (our attempts to splice my speaker wire failed--and I still can't find my 'new' Bose speakers bought at least a year(?) ago! They're somewhere in this house--but as with everything, somehow invisible at the moment, lol.
Aaaargh! As with everything, my husband has no patience and wants to just pick up another set. You KNOW the very moment they're installed the first ones will turn up?  (this is why we have double of everything, mostly tools he 'needed' for specific purposes, lol)
