How PrayerMeister Works - ** MUST READ TO PARTICIPATE!!! ** (Locked Subject)

This board is for simple, nondenominational prayer requests. No preaching, no theology, no bible thumping, no "sword-fighting" and no exceptions! All that's required is that you agree that God (just one) hears and answers prayer! (Pretty simple actually)

As you can see, this subject is "locked," (means we ain't gunna discuss it here) so any comments; PM me or contact me off-list, okay?

Here in America, according to the most recent poll 83% of the people believed in God, and I would guess those numbers to be about the same throughout the world. Unlike a lot of policies of late, because of the desire to be politically correct, many who believe in God (even those who aren't even sure what they believe) so quickly tend to cower and recapitulate or hide when their faith, regardless of how deep, is challenged by folks who have none at all! What's up with that? Well, whatever it is, it ain't gunna happen here! Hardliner that I am, as long as there are people who "believe" (just like on any policy I make on this board) I will tell the rest to take a hike. My favorite book says, that if I deny Him, He will deny me, and I CAN'T AFFORD THAT! So now, to that 17% (Madelyn Murray O'Hare types) who are all too used to getting their own way in matters such as these, I simply say what you guys say about "changing the station" when we're offended by some of the stuff on radio and TV: "Just Stay outta PrayerMeister! No one's making you come here." (sound familiar?  )

You can even make it easy by clicking on the little "minus" thingy on the blue bar on the PrayerMeister board if you're offended by folks who pray and ask for prayer.  You won't even see the posts, and your problem is solved. (You can always turn it back on when you need to.  ) Attacking "policy" ain't gonna make it go away. After twenty-two years, those who know me, know that pressuring me only makes me dig my heels in. No, I'm not "sword fighting," just reaffirming what this particular board is about.

"Prayer" means "Talking to God." This board is called "PrayerMeister" not "Good-Thought-Meister." "Good Thoughts," "Positive Energy," "Get Well Soon" and other warm & fuzzy sounding stuff goes out of its way to subtly deny God's existence and attempts to circumvent His power. All that has ever, and will ever accomplish is to make the poster feel caring and/or compassionate, (whoopee-doo) and besides a waste of bandwidth; it really has no place here. Want warm and fuzzy? Post something on BanterMeister, or send fancy card. Here, we pray!!

Therefore, since atheists and nowadays, variations thereof, can't really "pray" and remain atheists or whatever, all they can do here is try to make trouble. If that's you; before you start, let me tell you: I don't play that game. If you don't believe in the existence of God, that's your choice, but at the same time, it indicates you really have no business anywhere near this board; and if you are here, (according to the rules) and your own profession, you really have nothing to say.  Criticizing this policy on list will immediately get your account (and all your posts) deleted, and your I.P. banned for life without fanfare. (just like you never existed) Howzatt?

Prayer requests are temporary and not left on this board.
